Industry: Preparing 6,000 Outdoor Lighting Units for the Ministry of Electricity

Baghdad – Al-Sabah Al-JadeedThe General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced the preparation of 6,000 outdoor lighting units for the Ministry of Electricity, confirming that government support has contributed to stimulating the industry in both the electricity and electronics sectors.The company's general manager, Sufyan Al-Jubouri, said: “The General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries provides many products that serve both the public and private sectors, including outdoor and indoor lighting systems, in addition to providing services to the Ministries of Electricity, Oil, and Health.”He pointed out that “there is great attention from the Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and the government program, as this period witnessed tangible support for the industry from the concerned ministries, which was not previously available,” confirming that “this support has contributed to stimulating the electricity and electronics industries, leading to strong industrial activity in this field.”He added, “The company has provided 6,000 outdoor lighting units to the Ministry of Electricity for lighting streets, bridges, and the airport, in addition to equipping the ministry with smart electricity meters. We are also working to supply the local market with water heaters, lamps, and other products.”
