Handball Federation Signs Agreement with Iranian Counterpart

Baghdad – Al-Sabah Al-Jadeed:Dr. Ahmed Riyadh, President of the Central Handball Federation, confirmed that the agreement signed with the Iranian Federation aims to enhance sports cooperation between the two countries in the field of handball. Riyadh stated, “The agreement includes organizing joint training camps, holding friendly and experimental matches between national teams and clubs, as well as exchanging technical expertise between the two federations.”He pointed out that “the good relations between the two federations and the joint technical committees contributed to reaching advanced understandings that were formally framed.” Riyadh added that “the negotiations conducted during the previous period resulted in including a new clause related to medical exchange, which will benefit both parties through the treatment of injuries of national team and club players via direct coordination between the federations.”Riyadh emphasized that “this agreement will cover all age groups and both genders, which will enhance the opportunities to develop handball in both countries, whether in training, competition, or medical development,” stressing the importance of this cooperation to achieve mutual benefit for both sides.
